Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a temporary Welder for the Starship program in Brownsville, Texas. This role includes participation in an accelerated training program to qualify for welding on Starship and Super Heavy vehicles. Welders will gain hands-on experience in fabricating precision components while working under the mentorship of experienced professionals.

The ideal candidate should have 1+ month of welding experience and a high school diploma. Upon successful completion, trainees may be eligible for conversion to full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ month of welding experience or certification in welding.
• Ability to pass a weld test per AWS D17.1.

Responsibilities

• Perform GTAW class A welds and fabricate metal components.
• Collaborate with lead welder on procedures and materials.
• Analyze engineering drawings to plan welding operations.
