Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Welder at Starbase, TX to build, maintain, and upgrade structural and launch pad systems for Starship campaigns. You will join an elite fabricator team to construct large assemblies, supports, tubing, piping, and launch pad infrastructure at the South Texas site.

You must have 2+ years of hands-on welding experience across SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW, with the ability to read blueprints and follow AWS/ASME standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years hands-on welding experience in SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, or FCAW (including FCAW-G); college or vocational welding program qualifies.

Responsibilities

• Complete welding assignments and procedures for building, repairing, and upgrading site structures and launch pad systems.
• Weld using FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, and GTAW on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
• Cut, trim, fit, and fabricate metal parts to specified dimensions.
• Collaborate with the lead welder on weld procedures, material types, and filler size.
• Review engineering drawings and specs to plan welding operations.
