Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Structures Technician (Starship) to modify, repair, assemble and install rocket components per drawings, align parts with precision, and test assemblies using CNCs, brakes, rollers, robots and related tooling in a high‑compliance aerospace environment.

Requires a high school diploma and 1+ year in hardware assembly or related trades; aerospace or military experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year in hardware assembly, test, maintenance, or installation experience.
• Trade certificate in A&P, manufacturing, or electronics is a plus.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Military or aviation manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modify and assemble rocket components per drawings.
• Align parts and secure with clecos or clamps.
• Operate sheet metal equipment (CNCs, brakes, rollers) and robotics.
• Perform tests on assemblies including pressurized, fatigue, or cycle tests.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to drawings.
