Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Structures Technician (MACHINING) to modify, repair, assemble, and install rocket and spacecraft components and subassemblies, following drawings and tooling instructions. Candidates should have experience with drilling, countersinking, deburring, hand and power tools, and reading engineering drawings; A&P license or equivalent trade credentials are preferred.

All shifts and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of hardware assembly, test, maintenance, or installation experience.
• A&P license or equivalent trade credentials preferred.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Modify, repair, assemble, and install rocket and spacecraft components per drawings.
• Use tooling holes or by hand per instructions.
• Align parts and secure with clecos or clamps.
• Install fasteners in correct sequence using rivet guns and related tools.
• Deburr panels and prepare surfaces for assembly.
• Inspect work with QA instruments to ensure conformance to drawings.
