Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of professional experience in construction or aerospace with leadership or coordination of a labor force.
• 3+ years hands-on with a trade in welding, tubing, vertical building, integration, machining, fabrication, or heavy equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site management on a fast-paced construction project.
• Manage a team dedicated to site logistics, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Plan, implement and enforce construction site logistics to meet goals and schedule.
• Enforce SpaceX safety policies and drive a safety culture on site.
• Coordinate and resolve field conflicts among contractors and internal teams.
• Handle site logistics: deliveries, offloading, inventory, storage and staging.
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and erect/adjust barricades as needed.
• Maintain SWPP compliance and local/state/federal regulations.
• Create and manage worker and subcontractor schedules with engineering and PM input.
• Maintain daily site operations log and report to management.
• Oversee procurement and execution of sub-projects as delegated.
• Provide budgetary cost estimates for preliminary scope; solicit proposals and award contracts.
• Develop final cost and schedule for sub-projects and track progress.
• Coordinate project implementation and status tracking with end users and facilities.
• Manage night shift contractors as required; adapt to meet deadlines and quality goals.
• Assist with hands-on skilled trade work ~10% of the time.
