Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Construction Superintendent, Starbase Infrastructure, to lead a team of laborers and contractors building and activating infrastructure for multiple projects. You will own site logistics, safety, scheduling, and asset management while coordinating with engineering and project management teams.

The role requires 3+ years in engineering, construction management, or related fields, with strong leadership and a proven ability to manage complex, fast-paced sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 3+ years of professional experience in engineering, construction management, architecture or facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site management of a fast-paced construction project.
• Manage a team dedicated to construction site logistics/operations and schedules.
• Plan and enforce construction site logistics to meet project goals and schedule.
• Manage construction assets (trailers, porta-potties, rental equipment).
• Enforce SpaceX safety policies and drive safety culture on site.
• Coordinate and resolve field issues with contractors and internal partners.
• Plan daily deliveries, offloads, inventory, storage and staging of materials.
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and adherence to regulations.
• Develop and iterate schedules with engineering and PM teams.
• Oversee procurement and execution of sub-projects, including cost estimates and contracts.
• Coordinate with end users and facilities for building operations and maintenance.
• Manage night shift contractors when required.
