Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for Starship Launch Hardware in Florida. You will design and analyze mechanical systems for launch pads, recovery, and production tooling, while coordinating the full build, test, and activation lifecycle of your hardware.

You will collaborate with operations and leadership to ensure products meet form, function, and cost targets, applying strong GD&T and hands-on problem-solving skills to drive program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (required).
• 1+ years in design/analysis of mechanical structures using CAD/CAE tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze mechanical systems for launch pads, recovery, and production tooling.
• Coordinate build, testing and activation of hardware.
• Work with operations to ensure form, function, and aesthetics meet requirements.
• Present cost and schedule trade proposals to leadership.
