SpaceX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Tower & Launch Mount (Starship) at Cape Canaveral, FL. You will design for manufacturability, develop tooling, and support installation of flight‑critical hardware on the tower and launch mount.

You will lead on-site design engineering, create CAD models, build schedules, and drive process improvements while collaborating with analysts, production teams, and suppliers to advance Starship hardware.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
• 1+ year hands-on project experience with mechanical systems (internships count).
• Experience with design for manufacturability and production support.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with design analysts to ensure tower design meets manufacturing requirements.
• Develop production procedures and transitions from development to production.
• Coordinate testing and acceptance of systems and tooling to meet deadlines.
• Create CAD models and prints for flight or tooling components.
• Lead on-site design engineering support for build of parts and assemblies.
• Maintain build schedules and document processes for continuous improvement.
