Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Equipment Reliability Engineer to own reliability programs for Starship production equipment. You will develop preventive maintenance, enable real-time performance monitoring, and drive proactive improvements to maximize asset availability.

You will collaborate with maintenance, tooling and production teams to define KPIs, support new equipment onboarding, and ensure reliability is built into design and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, reliability, or operations.

Responsibilities

• Own equipment improvement plans to maximize production availability.
• Develop reliability programs: preventive maintenance, spare parts, and IoT integration.
• Implement sensors and monitoring to trigger predictive maintenance.
• Perform RCA and FMECA to prevent failures on critical equipment.
• Coordinate cross-functional improvements with design, tooling and production teams.
