Job summary

SpaceX in Wisconsin seeks an Equipment Reliability Engineer for Starship production who will own equipment improvement plans and reliability programs to maximize asset availability.

You will integrate sensors for predictive maintenance, perform RCA/FMECA, and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive reliability enhancements. A engineering degree and 1+ year in manufacturing or reliability are required; 5+ years in similar roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, reliability, or operations.
• 5+ years in a maintenance engineering or reliability role in high-volume settings.
• Experience with CMMS (Maximo, SAP, Infor).
• Knowledge of OEE, MTBF, MTTR KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Own equipment improvement plans to maximize production availability.
• Define, develop, and refine reliability programs including preventive maintenance.
• Integrate equipment into SpaceX IoT for real-time monitoring.
• Design and integrate sensors for predictive maintenance triggers.
• Develop RCA and FMECA to prevent failures on critical equipment.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to drive process improvements and equipment overhauls.
• Develop and implement reliability KPIs to improve efficiency.
