Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Supplier Development Engineer in Hawthorne, California. This role focuses on supplier development for the Starshield program, ensuring continuity of supply for copper and fiber cable harnessing.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, excellent collaboration skills, and is expected to work closely with design, R&D, and production teams. This is an onsite position, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing and/or process engineering role.
• Experience with copper or fiber harnessing or cable manufacturing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own continuity of supply for harnessing on the Starshield program.
• Collaborate to deliver products with design and production teams.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers for the Starshield program.
