Job summary

SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer specializing in harnessing for the Starshield program. Located in Hawthorne, this role includes managing supplier relationships, ensuring the quality of cable harnessing, and executing supply chain strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and experience in manufacturing. Responsibilities include working closely with teams, driving supplier improvements, and overseeing production part approval processes. This is an onsite role with evolving responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing and/or process engineering role.
• Experience with IPC-620 WHMA or applicable USCAR standards.
• Working knowledge of supplier quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Own continuity of supply for copper and fiber cable harnessing.
• Collaborate with design and R&D teams.
• Support procurement team to strategically source parts.
