Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Structural Engineer (Starlink) to join the Bastrop, Texas-based Starlink facility. You will work with engineers across disciplines to design and build infrastructure enabling SpaceX’s long-term mission, delivering large capital projects for internal customers.

You will develop drawings and documentation for civil/structural manufacturing and site projects, manage contracts, and coordinate with contractors, fabricators, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of professional engineering/construction experience.
• PE license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi-discipline team on civil/structural projects.
• Develop and issue drawings, design docs, and reports for construction projects.
• Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors.
• Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and cost control reports.
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real-time.
• Interact with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and stakeholders.
