SpaceX is seeking a Civil Engineer for Land Development (Starlink) in Bastrop, TX. You will design, build, and activate infrastructure for Starlink production facilities, focusing on heavy civil and utility components, and oversee projects from concept to completion.

You will collaborate with project managers, facility engineers, designers, vendors, and internal customers to meet project goals, schedules, and budgets while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 1+ year of professional civil engineering design, analysis, and drafting.
• 4+ years of civil engineering design, analysis, and drafting (preferred).
• EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred).
• Experience with civil design software: StormCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, WaterCAD, PCSWMM.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D for grading and surface design.
• Knowledge of permitting and environmental agency processes.
• Understanding of electrical, piping, geotechnical, surveying disciplines.
• Experience with project management: estimating, cost control, schedule, contractor management.
• Ability to read, review, and approve shop and fabrication drawings.

Responsabilités

• Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for land development projects.
• Perform calculations for grading, drainage, stormwater control facilities, water distribution, and underground utilities.
• Coordinate permits with local, state, and federal agencies related to land development and utilities.
• Manage civil aspects of construction projects in the field: QA/QC, conflict resolution, contractor coordination.
• Interact with contractors, vendors, owners, and internal clients to develop requirements, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in real-time.
