Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supervisor to lead the Machining & Fabrication team at the Bastrop site. You will oversee technicians and automation specialists, collaborate with engineering, and drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence across Starlink projects.

You will mentor staff, manage tooling and inventory, and align priorities with program leaders to scale manufacturing capabilities for high-volume production.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a manufacturing or fabrication team.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Background in machining, maintenance, or production.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians and specialists fabricating and assembling Starlink factory assets.
• Collaborate with engineering and automation to meet deployment milestones.
• Mentor staff and provide design feedback and technical guidance.
• Manage inventory, safety training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
