Southern Star is hiring Starlink Technicians to install and service Starlink systems for homes in rural areas. The role includes becoming a technology ambassador who helps customers get online and maximize their new service.

The position offers paid training with a base pay of $17.00 per hour, increasing by $0.50 after 60 days, and a guaranteed $20.00 per hour through the first 9 months after training, with additional bonuses and commissions potential.

Formación

• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to climb ladders up to 38 ft and work in crawl spaces.
• Willing to travel up to 20% of the time. Lodging and per diem are covered by SSI.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Offer customers additional products and services during installs.
• Clear background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Record.

Training/Base pay rate of $17.00 per hour. The Base rate increases .50 upon completion of 60 days of employment.

We have a Guaranteed Hourly Rate of $20.00 per hour upon completion of training through your first 9 months. This allows time to build your bonus and commission skills.

If your post-training base rate, plus bonuses and commission don’t bring you to the Guaranteed Hourly Rate, we will increase your pay. However, the earning potential is much higher!

As a Southern Star Starlink Technician, you'll install and service Starlink, the high-speed satellite internet connecting homes across rural and underserved communities. You'll do more than install equipment. You'll be a technology ambassador who gets customers online and shows them how to make the most of their new service.
