Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems, a family-owned generator service leader, is seeking Field Service Technicians to service standby generators across the Northeast. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, coordinating with customers and preparing quotes.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (8kW-1MW)
• Experience with engines, electrical systems or heavy equipment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotating schedule
• Must provide own tools (multi-meter, hand-tools) and maintain safety standards

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (8kW-1MW)
• Troubleshoot, test, and start up generators; conduct load-bank tests
• Prepare accurate quotes and submit work orders
• Build on experience with residential or industrial generators
• Maintain excellent customer service and timely communication
• Participate in on-call rotating schedule
• Provide own tools (multi-meter, hand-tools)
• Maintain OSHA 10 safety compliance and DOT/driver requirements
