Kinsley Power Systems is hiring Field Service Technicians to service standby generators throughout the Northeast. If you have experience with engines, electrical systems, or heavy equipment, you may thrive in this role.

We offer specialized training to help you transition into the power generation industry and build a long-term, rewarding career. The role involves preventive maintenance and repairs on generator systems (8kW–1MW), troubleshooting, quoting repairs, and joining an on-call rotating

Qualifications

• Experience servicing standby generator systems (Ranging from 8kW–1MW).
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain.
• Valid DOT card and driver's license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (Ranging from 8kW-1mW).
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, load-bank testing and start-ups on generators.
• Preparing accurate quotes for repairs and completing/submitting work orders.
• Previous experience working on residential or industrial generators.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to participate in an on call, rotating schedule.
