Qualifications

• Experience with engines, electrical systems, or heavy equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to participate in on-call rotating schedule.
• Must supply own tools (multi-meter, hand-tools, etc.).
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain.
• Valid DOT card and driver's license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (8kW-1MW).
• Troubleshoot, diagnostic testing, load-bank testing and start-ups on generators.
• Prepare accurate quotes for repairs and complete/submitting work orders.
• Previous experience working on residential or industrial generators.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to participate in an on call, rotating schedule.
