Job summary

The Kinsley Group is seeking Field Service Technicians to service standby generators across the Northeast. You will work on engines, electrical systems, and heavy equipment, with access to specialized training to advance in the power generation industry.

Be prepared to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and provide accurate quotes. A customer-focused attitude and the ability to work on an on-call schedule are essential, as is bringing your own tools and licenses where required.

Qualifications

• Experience with engines, electrical systems, or heavy equipment.
• OSHA 10 or the ability to attain one.
• DOT Card or the ability to attain one.
• Must provide your own tools (multi-meter, hand-tools, etc.).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to participate in an on call, rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (Ranging from 8kW-1mW)
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, load-bank testing and start-ups on generators
• Preparing accurate quotes for repairs and completing/submitting work orders
• Previous experience working on residential or industrial generators
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• The ability to participate in an on call, rotating schedule
