What You Will Be Doing

As the Aeronautical Engineer you will be responsible for driving mechanical standard parts and components engineering across the Aeronautics portfolio, ensuring quality, support, and efficient production.

\"Your responsibilities will include:\"

  • Control standard part configuration through the preparation and release of program standard part drawings and revision level control of vendor standard part drawings
  • Support conceptual and layout design phases with standard parts expertise
  • Promote product quality through qualification of suppliers, maintenance of authorized supplier list, and coordination with quality department on standard part quality issues
  • Support production by investigating and resolving standard part related issues impacting manufacturing

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering

Basic understanding of mechanical components: structural fasteners and fluid fittings

CAD Modeling Experience

Desired Skills

Familiar with fluid conveyance

Experience with mechanical systems

Military or commercial aircraft experience

Familiar with industry specifications and standards with respect to fasteners, fitting, and mechanical hardware

Experience with Xcelerator

Experience with Agile project development (e.g. Jira)

Experience with data governance

Experience Python programming language

Familiar with AI

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
