Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 6 months of start date
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days
• PALS certification within 6 months
• RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care with nursing standards
• Collaborate with providers and care team to serve patient needs
• Assess pain and promote effective pain management with timely reassessments
• Document care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications and follow-up
• Prepare patients and families for self-management and lifestyle changes
