Qualifications

• Hold a master’s degree in materials, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Have at least 2 years of development experience in stamping tooling or the mechanical industry.
• Experience with stamping processes, materials, heat treatment, coatings, machining, GD&T.
• Demonstrate problem solving, learning agility, and proactive/innovative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create project-level CAD designs for production tooling.
• Participate in tooling reviews, collaboration, and cross-functional groups.
• Optimize production concepts balancing quality, cost, and delivery.
• Collaborate with tool manufacturing owners to ensure manufacturability.
• Support failure analysis and root-cause investigations for design issues.
• Maintain and update tooling design docs, drawings, and change records.
