Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field with 5 years of experience, or a Master's with 2 years.
Experience in a tool center, tool shop or tool service department.
Strong technical understanding of production tools and QCD-oriented manufacturing processes.
Good command of English; additional language skills relevant to the role are a plus.
Analytical, collaborative and proactive mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; US Person for export control.

Responsibilities

Development and innovation of production tools on project level.
Set the standard and support the implementation of tool service for plants within the BD.
Institutionalize the MRP concept of tooling procurement and warehouse management.
Initiate and collaborate in projects/working groups that concern the development of tooling solutions.
Ensure QCD optimized production concepts acc. to design to cost factors.
Monitor internal and external tool related trends to utilize for development and innovation.
Try-out support for series production.
