Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners in Illinois seeks a Stamping Press Room Manager to direct all production activities in the press room and lead daily operations to meet schedules, quality standards, and cost targets. The role requires 5+ years in stamping/press room leadership and experience with new program launches, plus strong Lean/CI knowledge to drive improvements and safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of stamping/press room leadership experience.
• Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises Production Supervisors, Shift Superintendent and stamping operations team members to ensure production and delivery schedules are met.
• Responsible for meeting production, quality and plant safety standards.
• Monitors processes to ensure objectives and timetables are met.
• Ensures materials, quality, accounting, and personnel needs are met to avoid production interruptions.
• Identifies, implements and verifies continuous improvement opportunities.
• Maintains safe work practices and keeps up-to-date with safety requirements.
