Job summary

General Motors LLC is seeking a leader to own the integration of the Stamping Execution value stream from die and process concept through tryout, launch, and homeline delivery. The role connects Engineering, Design, Process Integration, Die Execution, Secondary Tryout, Planning, and Manufacturing Operations to ensure launch deliverables meet quality, throughput, timing and plant readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead die-to-press and tryout integration across design, simulation, die execution, secondary tryout, plant loading, and homeline delivery.
• Own and evolve Global Launch Process deliverables for Stamping with Manufacturing Operations partners.
• Integrate plant production requirements and T-event loading with Planning to assess launch criteria and surface risks to schedule, capacity and readiness.
• Align Pontiac STF and Parma: establish priorities, cadence, and escalation paths.
• Define, revise, and sustain standardized workflows for Pontiac STF, Parma, secondary tryout, T-events, R-events, and related deliverables.
• Convert simulations, die/press learnings into updates to design standards, tryout methods, and launch plans.
• Identify recurring constraints and drive corrective action beyond an individual program.
• Architect and maintain KPIs and deliverable tracking for integration performance.
• Lead cross-functional problem solving and elevate decisions when schedule, capacity, quality, or timing is at risk.
• Participate in the selection of new employees; train, develop and evaluate staff; establish group objectives aligned with KPI's; evaluate processes for digitization; oversee tooling activities.
