Job summary

MiTek Industries is seeking a skilled manufacturing technician to operate automatic equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes. You will set up stamping dies, perform tool changes, and troubleshoot to keep production on schedule.

The role includes an initial training period on first shift before transitioning to the second shift. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED and is comfortable reading measurements, with some forklift experience and a willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Forklift experience preferred but not required
• Ability to read measurements and perform math operations
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet schedule

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery for manufacturing and stamping dies
• Perform tooling changes according to schedules
• Troubleshoot and repair dies to keep production on schedule
• Conduct preventative maintenance on presses and tooling
• Monitor presses and secondary systems for proper operation
• Attend and be on time for shift start and overtime when required
