Zusammenfassung

OWL Services is the premier provider of sales, installation and service for retail, commercial, fleet and more. The Staging Technician role loads customer-specific software onto POS equipment and verifies correct software versions and patches before deployment.

You will unpack devices, load applications and databases, test communications with peripherals, and prepare items for shipment across a wide service network.

Qualifikationen

Basic knowledge of networking including IP addresses and gateways.
Experience in PC troubleshooting and remote diagnosis.
Background in video surveillance, networking, or computer repair.
Preference for CCTV DVR/HVR/NDVR setup experience.
Preference for setting up IP cameras and lenses.

Aufgaben

Complete certification training on supported equipment.
Unpack POS equipment and prepare for loading.
Load software into equipment per configuration.
Verify software versions and patch compliance; reload as needed.
Load customer databases into POS devices.
Verify communications between POS and peripherals.
Register devices and software on vendor portals.
Repack equipment and peripherals before shipment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
