Job summary

Upstage Companies is seeking a detail-oriented Staging Department Lead in Salt Lake City, UT to manage staging prep, inventory, check-in/out, and show readiness. You will support rental estimates, interact with clients on-site, and collaborate with project managers to deliver high-quality productions.

The role requires basic lighting/audio/video understanding and strong communication. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with potential for growth in a dynamic live-events team.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on detailed tasks.
• Basic understanding of lighting, audio, and/or video in a technical production setting strongly preferred.
• Understanding of industry and Upstage-specific standards as it relates to rental quality preferred.
• Experience with Rentman rental software is a plus.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (knowledge of Google Suite preferred).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Shifts & Schedule

You are expected to work a 40 hour work week, Monday - Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You will have a 1-hour lunch break.

This schedule may be subject to change (including nights & weekends) depending on the labor needs of the Upstage clients.
