Job summary

Naples Philharmonic is seeking a House Crew Assistant/Electrics to support events and performances. You will handle stage setup, lighting, and audio, collaborating with visiting artists and staff to ensure smooth productions.

The role requires hands-on experience with technical duties, working in dynamic environments, and maintaining equipment safety. Seasonal, full-time, non-exempt position based in Naples, FL.

Qualifications

• One or more years of professional stagecraft in audio, video, carpentry, or electrics.
• Preference for lighting skills to hang, patch, and program lighting consoles.
• Knowledge of audio/video control surfaces, amplifiers, microphones, projectors, and screens.
• Counterweight fly system operation and basic carpentry skills.
• Experience with stage electrics and lighting control boards.

Responsibilities

• Set up stages and spaces with equipment per event specifications.
• Review plots and tech requirements from visiting and resident staff.
• Operate lighting boards or mix FOH/monitor audio as assigned.
• Design stage, light, sound plots or cue lists for productions.
• Load and unload trucks as required.
• Assist visiting groups and staff with events.
• Complete equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Report hazardous conditions to supervisors.
