Job summary

Stella Maris in central Maryland seeks a Staffing Supervisor for the Personal Care/Home Health team. You will manage staffing resources, schedule nursing aides, and coordinate with the Director to ensure safe patient care in the community.

This full-time role offers PTO, tuition reimbursement, a 403(B) retirement plan with generous match, and comprehensive health benefits. On-call duties and payroll participation are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior experience in home health strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily staffing schedules and updates according to client needs, assuring appropriate staffing for the delivery of patient care.
• Maintains schedule and attendance records; participates in payroll process and reviews timesheets.
• Procur es supplemental personnel through flex staff and agencies and communicates staffing needs.
• Keeps Director informed of critical staffing situations and resolves concerns rapidly.
• Assists with performance appraisals and with disciplinary actions as needed.
• Occasional on-call duties and other related tasks.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director, the Staffing Supervisor will be the point person for all staffing resources in the Personal Care Department.

• Prepares daily staffing schedules and updates according to client needs, assuring appropriate staffing for the delivery of patient care.
• Accurately enters and maintains schedule and attendance records. Reviews electronic timesheets and actively participates in the payroll process.
• Receives call outs and enters data into the system. Procures supplemental personnel through contact with flex staff and agencies.
• Keeps Director informed of critical staffing situations. Actively works to resolve critical concerns rapidly.
• Maintains license information for agency personnel; addresses problems appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Participates in the biweekly payroll process to ensure limited use of overtime and agency.
• Assists with Marketing PCS program to assure goals are met.
• Assists with completion of performance appraisals for the aides.
• Assists with developing disciplinary actions and/or performance improvement plans
• On - Call occasionally.
• Completes payroll accurately and in a timely manner.Other duties within scope of job functions as assigned.
