Job summary

Stella Maris Inc. in Timonium, MD, is seeking an Activity Coordinator to provide a program of therapeutic activities for residents, under the supervision of the Director/Senior Activities Coordinator.

The role includes creating care plans, assessing residents, and documenting progress. Responsibilities include meeting state and federal standards, managing activity expenditures, and coordinating activities Monday through Friday with some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Experience in activity coordination or senior living environments is a plus.
• Ability to plan and execute therapeutic activities.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements therapeutic activity programs for residents.
• Maintains compliance with state and federal accrediting standards.
• Prepares assessments, care plans and documentation on schedule.
• Manages budgeted activities expenditures.
• Works Monday–Friday with some weekend/evening events.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director/Senior Activities Coordinator, provides a program of therapeutic activities for the residents of Stella Maris.

Essential Functions

• Provides programs to meet the residents' needs and comply with State and Federal accrediting agencies.
• Complies with department policies and procedures.
• Provides accurate and timely resident assessments, care plans and documentation.
• Manages individual budgeted activities expenditures.
• Monday- Friday, includes weekends, as needed evenings and special events such as holidays
