Job summary

Stella Maris in Timonium, MD seeks an Activity Coordinator to provide a program of therapeutic activities for residents and ensure compliance with state and federal accrediting agencies. You will assess residents, document care plans and manage expenditures for activities, with schedule coverage Monday–Friday and select weekends/evenings.

Applicants should have an Associate's Degree preferred and will work in a facility offering PTO, tuition reimbursement, a 403(b) plan and comprehensive health

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director/Senior Activities Coordinator, provides a program of therapeutic activities for the residents of Stella Maris.

Essential Functions

• Provides programs to meet the residents' needs and comply with State and Federal accrediting agencies.
• Complies with department policies and procedures.
• Provides accurate and timely resident assessments, care plans and documentation.
• Manages individual budgeted activities expenditures.
• Monday- Friday, includes weekends, as needed evenings and special events such as holidays
