Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to support daily staffing operations in a 24/7 hospital environment. This part-time role covers two 8-hour shifts per week (2:30 PM–11:00 PM) and rotates every third weekend, located in New Albany, IN.

The coordinator will manage call-ins, float assignments, and staffing allocations, and partner with nursing and department leaders while utilizing scheduling systems such as Workday and API.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Two (2) years experience in healthcare scheduling, staffing or administrative roles.
• Experience in hospital operations or staffing coordination preferred; Familiarity with staffing and scheduling systems (i.e. API, Workday) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications highly recommended.
