Job summary

Ketch-Kansas-Elks-Training-Center-For-the-Handicapped is seeking a Staffing Specialist in Wichita, KS to support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes. The role includes prescreening applicants by phone and in person, conducting interviews, background checks, and coordinating training during orientations.

Responsibilities also cover receptionist duties, reporting, and ensuring smooth pre-employment procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required.
• Six months HR recruitment or staff training experience.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or 1/4 of own body weight, whichever is less.
• Beneficial experience: HR, recruitment, orientation, ATS, ADP, interviewing.

Responsibilities

HR - Staffing Specialist: M-F 8a-4:30p Develop your HR Skills in this unique industry - and make a difference in our community. Our Staffing Specialist is responsible for providing support in recruiting, hiring, receptionist duties, and training. Responsible for prescreening Direct Care applicants by phone and in-person, interviewing, reference checking, background checks, job fairs, tracking reports, as well as applicant follow-up and documentation. Also responsible for receptionist duties, and facilitating safety and introductory training during new hire orientations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, Human Resources (preferred) -or a related field
• Six months work experience in HR recruitment and/or HR staff training
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, dependable vehicle, proof of auto insurance
