Job summary

Abacus Corporation is seeking a motivated Staffing Specialist to support high-volume recruitment for light industrial roles, including assemblers, production workers, forklift drivers, and machine operators. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience in light industrial staffing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in high-volume light industrial staffing or recruiting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient with recruiting tools such as ATS, job boards, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of local labor market and workforce trends is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for light industrial positions (e.g., assemblers, production workers, forklift drivers, machine operators).
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
• Proactively source candidates using job boards, social media, internal databases, and community outreach.
• Conduct phone screens, in-person interviews, and onboarding activities for high-volume roles.
• Maintain candidate pipelines and ensure timely placement to meet client demands.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and prepare regular recruiting reports.
