Job summary

Asante in Medford, Oregon, is seeking a Staffing Specialist for a 6-month temporary role. The position provides staffing coverage for designated units, with 40 hours per week on 2nd shift (12:30 pm–11:00 pm).

You will work with nursing leadership to address gaps and ensure policy compliance. Requirements include 3 years of customer service experience, MS Office and scheduling systems knowledge, and a high school diploma (associate degree preferred).

Qualifications

• 3 years customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and scheduling systems highly desired.
• Education includes high school diploma; Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide staffing and scheduling support for designated units.
• Coordinate staffing coverage based on census, acuity, and skill mix.
• Ensure compliance with CBAs and hospital staffing policies.
• Document attendance and adjust timecards for correct pay.
