Paycom - ATS is seeking a Registered Nurse to demonstrate proficiency in the fundamentals of the nursing process, contribute to nursing assessment and the development of a care plan, and participate in the evaluation of nursing care at RHRC Rhinelander, Rhinelander, WI 54501.

You will supervise and coordinate nursing activities on your shift, ensure resident needs are met, and support nursing care standards by following policies and procedures.

Formación

• Current license to practice nursing in Wisconsin
• Diploma from an accredited School of Nursing with one year of nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support Certification

Responsabilidades

• Supervises and coordinates nursing activities of assigned shift to meet residents' needs
• Supports nursing care standards by adhering to policies and procedures
• Attends unit conferences and makes recommendations for residents' care
• Participates in peer review as appropriate
• Obtains and documents comprehensive nursing history from resident/family
• Performs basic assessment with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology
• Records vital signs and investigates changes as needed
• Develops a care plan before end of duty time for incoming staff
• Reviews and develops care plans for assigned residents
• Includes resident and family in planning care, setting priorities and goals
• Accepts accountability for clinical care including supervision of personnel
• Evaluates resident response to nursing care and documentation
• Completes admission, transfer, and discharge of residents
• Fulfills additional duties as assigned

The Registered Nurse will demonstrate proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contribute to nursing assessment and the development of a nursing care plan, and participate in the evaluation of nursing care.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates nursing activities of assigned shift to ensure that the ongoing needs of residents are met

Duties/Responsibilities

• Supports nursing care standards through adherence to existing policies and procedures
• Regularly attends unit conferences and makes recommendations for residents' care
• Participates in peer review as appropriate
• Obtains and documents nursing history from resident and/or significant others that is comprehensive of present condition and prior problems
• Performs basic assessment of patients, indicating adequate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology
• Records vital signs, notes changes, and pursues more-specific investigations as needed
• Identifies abnormal diagnostic data and shows a fundamental understanding of its implications by reporting information to the physician and others caring for the patient, and by incorporating information in the nursing care plan
• Uses assessment information to develop a care plan before the end of duty time that communicates enough information for incoming staff to adequately care for the resident
• Reviews and develops care plans for assigned residents
• Includes the resident and his or her family in planning care, establishing priorities, and setting goals
• Accepts accountability for clinical care of assigned residents including supervision of personnel
• Evaluates and notes the resident's response to nursing care defined in the nursing care plan and medical records
• Completes admission, transfer, and discharge of residents
• Fulfills additional duties as assigned

Qualifications: Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates knowledge of philosophies, policies, and responsibilities of nursing service
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all resident, employee and facility information

Education and Experience

• Current license to practice nursing in the state
• Possess a diploma from an accredited School of Nursing with one year of nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
