Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to coordinate new-hire onboarding for our temporary tradespeople in Austin, TX. This full-time internal position supports a fast-paced staffing environment and ensures a seamless, compliant onboarding experience.

Responsibilities include managing paperwork, background checks, data submission, and using Avionte and Fieldglass; collaborating with recruiters and HR; and serving as the primary contact for new hires.

Qualifications

• Prior onboarding experience in fast-paced staffing or high-volume environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with new hires.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

• Lead end-to-end onboarding for new hires including paperwork, background checks, data collection, submission, and status monitoring.
• Utilize various software to complete high-volume data entry.
• Serve as primary contact for new employees, answering questions and guiding onboarding.
• Coordinate onboarding schedules and documentation with Recruiters, HR, and managers.

Bring your prior experience in new-hire onboarding to our fast-paced and high-volume staffing environment!

Fulltime, Internal Position: Onboarding Specialist

Location: Onsite - Austin, TX

Bonus: ~$2,000 in monthly incentives

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility to work extended hours during peak times)

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in onboarding, preferably in a fast-paced staffing or high-volume environment.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you perform proactively and with urgency.
• Strong knowledge of HR systems, onboarding platforms, and compliance requirements (Avionte’ and Fieldglass a plus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others succeed.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Self-starter who thrives in a team-oriented, dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during busy/peak times.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires including new hire paperwork, background check/screening, data and document collection and submission, and monitoring the status of each step.
• Utilization of various software and programs in order to complete a high-volume of data entry.
• Serve as the go-to contact for new employees, answering questions and guiding them through the onboarding process.
• Work closely with Recruiters, HR, and hiring managers to coordinate onboarding schedules and documentation.
