Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold Services) is seeking an independent, highly motivated Staffing Manager to serve as an onsite extension of the client’s HR function in York, SC. The role focuses on managing the contingent workforce, developing employee relationships, and aligning with the client’s policies.

Responsibilities include building partnerships, counseling on attendance and performance, keeping production managers informed, updating live spreadsheets, and developing a talent pipeline

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisor role is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workload.
• Unsurpassed level of professionalism and ability to communicate at all levels of the client organization.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Must be self-motivated.
• People oriented.
• Knowledge of MS Office.

• Build and maintain strategic partnership with the client through an extensive and detailed understanding of the client's business, strategic direction, processes, and policies.
• Retain employees thru counseling on attendance, training and evaluations.
• Easily problem solve issues that may arise.
• Communicate and follow up with production supervisors and managers on Peak related matter.
• Update live spreadsheets and forms.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline that aligns with the client's needs and output requirement.
• Comply with all operational standards and employment laws and regulations

A Staffing Manager acts as an onsite extension of the client's HR function, managing all aspects of client contingent workforce, to include employee relationship development and management of the contingent employees. Having prior experience in staffing, manufacturing, light industrial skill sets is a STRONG PLUS!

Compensation

$22.00-$24.00 /hour.
