Job summary

Katy ISD is seeking an Analyst - Staffing/Data to develop and maintain elementary staffing data, manage contracts, and assist as PEIMS liaison. You will audit contracts, prepare staffing plans, track changes in Munis, and generate reports for HR and campus administrators.

The role requires strong organizational, analytical, and confidential data handling skills, plus experience with spreadsheets, databases, and payroll or salary processes.

Qualifications

• College hours, high school diploma or GED.
• Work experience, preferably in public education.
• Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Initiative and good judgment when working with employees and administrators.
• Expertise with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and calculators.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle interruptions.
• Detail oriented and a strong self-starter.
• Payroll or salary experience.
• Ability to work with confidential material.

Responsibilities

• Audit, prepare, submit and supervise reconciliation of elementary contracts.
• Prepare annual elementary staffing plan under supervision of the Chief Human Resources Officer.
• Maintain and update Munis Position Control for staffing changes.
• Assist in tracking growth units and maintain TYKE/Deaf Ed staffing.
• Process retiree leave reimbursements and service records.
• Assist with PEIMS reporting and TSDS corrections.
• Create and generate computer reports for personnel staff and others.
• Assist with job reclassifications and staffing recommendations.
