Cardinal Ritter Senior Services, a ministry of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis, seeks a Staffing Coordinator to support the Nursing Department’s 24-hour coverage and scheduling needs.

The ideal candidate is passionate about serving seniors in a mission-driven setting, with experience coordinating staffing, maintaining confidentiality, and using scheduling software to ensure safe, cost-effective coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA or CMT certification preferred or equivalent staffing experience.
• At least 1 year scheduling in a long-term care facility.
• Typing skills and basic data processing.
• Familiarity with a Time Keeping System.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and staff the Nursing Department for 24-hour coverage.
• Handle after-hours scheduling changes.
• Communicate with Director of Nursing and supervisors about staffing needs.
• Schedule within budget to minimize overtime and avoid over-scheduling.
• Maintain accurate timesheets and payroll readiness.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Monitor agency usage and ensure invoices align with scheduling data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
