Job summary

Cardinal Ritter Senior Services, a ministry of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis, seeks a Registered Nurse for CRSS Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will oversee resident care, supervise CNAs and CMTs, and ensure compliant, compassionate service for residents.

The role requires MO RN licensure, a geriatrics focus, and a commitment to quality, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration within a mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed and qualified as a Registered Nurse in Missouri.
• Knowledge of equipment necessary to fulfill physician orders and facility policies.
• Specialized interest in geriatrics and nursing care of chronically ill adults.
• Knowledge of regulations governing extended care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process to assess, plan, intervene and evaluate resident needs.
• Supervise and mentor CNAs and CMTs to ensure high-quality care.
• Promote individual care levels for residents physically, emotionally and spiritually.
• Conduct rounds to monitor staff performance and nursing standards.
• Ensure compliance with Matrix System and state/federal guidelines.
• Document changes in resident status and communicate with supervisors and physicians.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policy.
• Complete documentation, incident reporting, and physician notifications as needed.
• Maintain medical records, routine updates, and patient charts.
