Job summary

Providence Jobs in Napa is seeking a scheduling coordinator to efficiently coordinate clinical staff schedules, triage calls, and schedule visits using electronic systems. The role requires coordinating daily staff schedules, ordering supplies, and ensuring continuity of care.

Preferred candidates will be bilingual in Spanish/English and have 2 years of customer service experience, along with MS Office and EHR/EMR familiarity. This is a full-time, on-site position with Providence PACE/NAPA.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign daily schedules for clinical staff to maximize continuity of care and clinical productivity
• Triaging incoming calls and scheduling visits in an electronic scheduling system
• Assist in ordering supplies and coordinating participant appointments
• Ensure staff assignments maximize productivity and coverage
• Provide day-to-day scheduling support in a fast-paced clinical environment

Schedule

Monday to Friday Day shift

Accountable for the efficient coordination of the clinical staff schedules. Scope of work includes triaging incoming calls; scheduling visits in an electronic scheduling system; ensuring staff assignments maximize continuity of care and clinical productivity. Also responsible for coordinating and assignment daily schedules for clinical staff. Ordering supplies and coordinate participants appointments.

Required qualifications:

• 2 years of demonstrated outstanding customer service experience (ie filing, multi-phone lines and scheduling)
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office programs
• EHR/EMR experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Educational coursework in Medical Terminology or Knowledge acquired through on-the-job experience.
• 1 year of recent experience in staffing or related experience in a clinical setting or home services.
