Job summary

Providence in Oregon is seeking a PACE Resident Services Assistant (RSA) to provide support, assistance and care to participants. This 32-hour/week, Monday to Friday day shift role reports to the site Resident Services Coordinator and aims to create an environment that meets participants' emotional, physical and social needs.

Preferred qualifications include CPR and First Aid; one year caregiving with frail or elderly population.

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR certifications required at hire.
• One year of recent caregiver experience preferred for frail or elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, assistance, and care to participants as part of the PACE RSA role.
• Work with the site Resident Services Coordinator to meet participants' emotional, physical, and social needs.
• Help maintain a safe and supportive environment for elders in the community.

The PACE Resident Services Assistant (RSA) provides support, assistance, and care to participants. This position reports to the service area Operations Supervisor, in unison and under the instruction of the site Resident Services Coordinator. The Resident Services team creates and maintains an emotional, physical, and social environment consistently able to meet participant needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: First Aid Certification (Facility Managed)
• Upon hire: CPR Certification (Facility Managed)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of Recent Caregiver experience working with frail or elderly population.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
