Staffing Coordinator (Regular)
We are hiring for a Staffing Coordinator to support RHA Health Services in providing high‑quality staffing and training for individuals with intellectual, developmental, mental health and substance use challenges.
Pay: $19.00 per hour. This position requires a valid driver’s license and may involve travel exceeding one hour.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the candidate interview, onboarding, and overall candidate experience in collaboration with RHA recruiters and local operations leadership.
- Maintain personnel files, ensuring timely filing of documents and compliance with the Record Retention Policy.
- Supervise personnel functions including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, communication, job changes and file/records management.
- Assist with employee relations, serving as a reference for personnel policies and working with the Administrator/Director and Corporate HR on employee matters.
- Coordinate employee training and development: plan and participate in new‑employee orientation, schedule and confirm trainings, maintain training database, prepare reports for QA, Safety Committee and Director meetings, set up CBT trainings, and track certification status.
- Coordinate employee staffing and hiring: collaborate with RHA recruiters, maintain Workday job profiles, ensure employees meet conditions of employment, and participate in recruitment events (career fairs, open houses, college recruiting).
- Perform credentialing for each licensed staff hired in accordance with company policy.
- Determine appropriate staffing levels for units, assign duties to administrative staff, and ensure all employees are compensated accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, psychology or related field preferred.
- Experience in training or credentialing preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required; travel exceeding one hour may be necessary.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Proficiency in reading professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.
- Strong reasoning and problem‑solving skills; ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Mathematical ability: basic arithmetic, statistical concepts, and reading charts/graphs.
- Physical requirements: lift 10–15 lbs., pull 10 lbs., stand, walk, squat, kneel and crawl; proficiency in CPR (floor level) required.
- Pre‑employment screening: criminal background check, drug testing, education verification, and driver’s license verification.
- Capability to work in an office environment with moderate noise levels and occasional humid conditions.
