Job summary

Edenbrook Rochester, part of Eden Senior Care, is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to oversee scheduling and staffing operations, ensuring adequate coverage to support resident care. This role focuses on coordinating shifts, liaising with agencies, and maintaining accurate staffing records.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year scheduling experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to cover weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing needs and operations of Edenbrook Rochester.

• Develop work schedules by allocating employees in shifts and positions.
• Collaborate with payroll to ensure correct employee compensation.
• Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations.

Edenbrook Rochester, a proud member of the Eden Senior Care network, is currently seeking a Staffing Coordinator to oversee scheduling, staffing operations, and ensure adequate staffing coverage to support quality resident care.

Position: Staffing Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all staffing needs and operations of the company
• Liaise with recruiting agencies to fill vacancies in a timely manner
• Covering call offs with other staff or agency when applicable.
• Develop work schedules by allocating employees in shifts and positions
• Collaborate with payroll to ensure correct employee compensation
• Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations
• Utilizing computer software to prepare, change, and update the master schedule
• Fulfills staffing vacancies in advance to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
• Amenable to cover weekends and holidays
• On Call Responsibilities
• Answering phone
• Greeting and assisting visitors.
• Main point of contact

Skills:

• Preferred: At least 1 year of proven experience in scheduling or as a staffing coordinator
• Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, and best practices
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Reliable with respect to confidentiality
• OnShift experience is a plus
