Job summary

Edenbrook of Greenwood Hill, part of the Eden Senior Care network, is seeking a Scheduler to join our team. Primary duties include overseeing staffing, liaising with agencies, and coordinating HR processes. Hours are Monday–Friday 7AM–3PM or 8AM–4PM, with one weekend every 12 weeks.

The role supports orientation, training, and payroll collaboration, ensuring compliance with policies. This position emphasizes clear communication and dependable scheduling across shifts in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a scheduler within SNF setting.
• Experience with Onshift; knowledge of staffing ratios and PPD.
• Proven experience as a staffing coordinator or similar position.
• Experience in planning and execution of HR plans (onboarding, hiring).
• Solid knowledge of relevant legal regulations (EOE, relocation, visa procedures).
• Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Reliable with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support candidate screening and hiring processes
• Facilitate procedures after hiring regarding employee relocation, legal documents etc.
• Assist in orientation and training plan execution
• Develop work schedules by allocating employees in shifts and positions
• Timekeeping and time-off request management
• Collaborate with payroll to ensure correct compensation
• Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations
• Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations
• Utilize software to prepare, change and update the master schedule
• Develop daily 24-hour staffing sheet for the skilled nursing facility
• Recruit nursing employees to fill staffing needs
• Review PTO and vacation requests
• Fulfills staffing vacancies in advance for adequate coverage
• Maintain attendance records and assist with progressive discipline

Position: Scheduler

Work Hours

Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM or 8AM-4PM (1 weekend once every 12 weeks)

Responsibilities

• Keeps attendance records and assists with the progressive disciplinary process if staff members accrue excessive absences and/or tardies
