Staffing Coordinator Duties

• Build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Match staffing levels to census and required coverage
• Manage call-outs, time-off requests, and shift changes with accurate documentation
• Maintain staffing and timekeeping records and reports
• Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) on coverage planning

Staffing Coordinator Qualifications

• Staffing Coordinator or scheduler experience in a nursing home, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or long-term care (LTC) setting, OR in another clinical setting such as hospital nursing scheduling, home care, or a nursing staffing agency
