Mercy Medical Center Merced is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to optimize staffing across departments, schedule personnel, process staffing requests, manage call-outs, and communicate with staff and management about assignments and availability.
You will maintain schedules, attendances, and personnel data, generate projections for leadership, and support nursing administration with daily tasks. You’ll also manage contract staff, verify credentials, and perform audits for compliance and readiness.
As a Staffing Coordinator, you will be responsible for optimizing staffing levels across departments, ensuring adequate coverage and operational efficiency. Every day you will schedule personnel, process staffing requests, manage call-outs, and communicate effectively with staff and management regarding assignments and availability. To be successful, you will demonstrate strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail in scheduling, and excellent communication, crucial for maintaining optimal workforce deployment and service continuity.
